Uninsured Driver Commits Traffic Violation on the Highway, Lacking Necessary Documentation
A 39-year-old driver from Rhinelander found himself in a sticky situation on Friday morning around 10:30 AM. The incident occurred at the Waldlaubersheim service area on the A61, where a patrol from the Gau-Bickelheim highway police was conducting checks.
The driver, whose name remains undisclosed in public sources, could not produce a valid driver's license. Police checks revealed that the individual had not had a driver's license for several years. The car he was driving also had not had valid insurance coverage for over a month.
As a result, the 39-year-old was prohibited from continuing his journey. The license plates and vehicle registration were confiscated. The driver claimed to have forgotten his driver's license at home.
