The International Automobile Exhibition, one of the world's most important mobility shows, is taking place for the third time in Munich. This year, the event is attracting a significant number of electric vehicle (EV) premieres, with several manufacturers unveiling their latest EV models.

Kia is also introducing the electric transporter PV5, offering a range of up to around 400 kilometres, and the small SUV concept vehicle EV2.
Volkswagen (VW) is another major player at the show, presenting two premieres. The German automaker will reveal the VW ID.2 X, an electric SUV with a range likely around 400 kilometres, and the Czech VW brand Škoda will showcase a study, the Škoda Vision O, an electric station wagon.
Two electric vehicles from Germany, the BMW iX3 and the Mercedes GLC with EQ technology, are among the most anticipated premieres at IAA Mobility 2025. The BMW iX3, the first vehicle to be built on the newly developed technology platform "Neue Klasse", is expected to have a range of up to 800 kilometres and can be charged at high-speed charging stations with up to 400 kW. The Mercedes GLC with EQ technology is a compact electric car in SUV format with a high range (up to 700 kilometres) and fast charging qualities (up to 320 kW).
Spanish VW brand Cupra will also make its mark at the event with the presentation of a new concept car, the Tindaya, an electric sedan. The Tindaya is named after a volcano on the Canary Island of Fuerteventura and is intended to present Cupra's new design language.
