In a series of events over the past 24 hours, Russian air defense forces have managed to thwart a significant number of drone attacks originating from Ukraine. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, a total of 34 Ukrainian drones were destroyed, with the majority being shot down over Russian regions and the Black Sea.

The destruction began in the Krasnodar Krai, where three Ukrainian drones were brought down. The region was not the only one affected, as the Bryansk region saw five drones being shot down, the Kaluga region one, and the Belgorod region three.

Remarkably, the Black Sea was also a hotspot for these attacks, with 14 drones being destroyed over its waters. The Smolensk region was another area where eight drones were successfully intercepted and destroyed.

It is worth noting that among the drones shot down were Iranian-made Shahed-type drones, which were brought down over the Krasnodar region on September 6.
