Unraveling the Details: What We've Discovered About It

In the realm of video gaming, a new open-world adventure is on the horizon, and it's making waves in the industry. This ambitious project, known as Light No Fire, is being developed by Hello Games, the creators of No Man's Sky, in collaboration with Ghost Town Games, the developers of Stage Fright and Overcooked.

Light No Fire, a game all about exploration and survival, has been in active development for around five years. The game promises to offer a sprawling fantasy story set in a single planet that scales in a fantasy environment, generated using procedural generation technology. This technology will create a planet the size of Earth, with no boundaries at a scale never attempted before.

The game will not only feature vast landscapes but also real oceans to traverse, requiring large boats and crews. The oceans, mountains, and traversable space in Light No Fire's world are as deep, tall, and wide as our own.

Players will have the freedom to create a custom avatar from a range of species, including human, rabbit, fox, badger, bear, wolf, and otter. This customisation adds a unique twist to the game, allowing players to immerse themselves in the world even more deeply.

Small outposts with characters giving out quests will be present in the game, similar to No Man's Sky. The game also introduces a multiplayer feature, allowing players to meet and interact with others from around the world.

Another key feature of Light No Fire is the ability to construct persistent buildings and communities. Anything built will be discoverable by other players, fostering a sense of community and collaboration. Players can team up with friends or encounter other players while exploring and surviving together.

The first trailer for Light No Fire was captured in-engine and released in 2023, giving us a glimpse of the game's potential. However, the release date for Light No Fire has not been set yet.

Initially revealed in 2023, Light No Fire is designed to create a multiplayer Earth, large enough to accommodate the current 7.8 billion people. The game blends elements of role-playing games with survival sandbox games, promising an immersive and engaging experience for players.

Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting new project!
