Unveiled Samsung's Lineup of AI Features for the Upcoming Galaxy S25
Samsung has unveiled its latest offering, the Galaxy S25 series, at the January Unpacked event. This new lineup of smartphones is designed to be more capable than ever in assisting users with AI-powered tasks.
At the heart of the Galaxy S25 series lies the Snapdragon® 8 Elite for Galaxy (3nm) processor, ensuring smooth and efficient performance. The series boasts a range of features aimed at enhancing durability, including IP68 water resistance, Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus® 2, and Armor Aluminum (Frame).
The Galaxy S25 series includes several innovative features. Galaxy AI, the main attraction at the Unpacked event, offers an interpreter tool for real-time translation between different languages. Writing Assist, another AI feature, helps find the right words for chats and emails. The series also offers Cross-app action with AI Agent and native app integration, Now Bar, and Now Briefs for a seamless user experience. The Galaxy S25 Ultra comes with an embedded S Pen for added functionality.
One standout feature is the Call Transcript feature, which allows for recording, transcribing, and summarizing phone calls, making it easier to review important conversations. The series also supports Google's Circle to Search feature, enabling users to perform a Google search based on an object in a photo or video.
The Galaxy S25 series offers a variety of display sizes. The base model features a 6.2" FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display, while the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra boast QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Displays. All models run on Android 15 with One UI 7.
In terms of battery life, the Galaxy S25 Ultra has the largest battery capacity (5000mAh) among the three models. All models support Super Fast Charging, with the Galaxy S25 Ultra offering Super Fast Charging 2.0.
The new Galaxy S25 phones come with 2TB of cloud storage and six months of Gemini Advanced for free. They are available in a range of colours: Icyblue, Navy, Mint, Silver Shadow, Titan Black, Titan Gray, Titan Silverblue, and Titan Whitesilver.
With the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung continues to push the boundaries of what smartphones can do, offering a blend of power, durability, and innovative AI features.
