Unveiling the Mystery: The Tale of a Young Viking and His Majestic Night Fury Dragon in How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World

In the world of animated cinema, the much-anticipated third instalment of the "How to Train Your Dragon" series, titled "How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World," is set to captivate audiences once more.

Dean DeBlois, the Canadian-born filmmaker behind the series, has written and directed this new chapter for DreamWorks Animation. Known for his passion for memorable storytelling, DeBlois has crafted a film that is equal parts sincere and epic, offering a gamut of emotions.

The story unfolds in the village of Berk, where Hiccup, Astrid, and Toothless reside. However, the village has become unsustainable due to the large number of dragons. Hiccup, now the rookie chief of his tribe, partners with Toothless, the rookie alpha of the largest flock of dragons on Earth.

Producer Bonnie Arnold, who has been with the franchise since its development in 2006, notes that the heroes in the film are on parallel paths. Hiccup struggles with letting Toothless find his own destiny, fearing he is unworthy without the dragon who saved and defined him.

Cate Blanchett plays the role of Valka in the film, Hiccup's mother who instructs him and Toothless in the arts of dragon rescue and has fashioned armor out of Toothless' scales.

DeBlois appreciates that his creative team shared his vision and that DreamWorks' technologists created state-of-the-art tools for the film. The DreamWorks Feature Animation Group shares DeBlois' passion for memorable storytelling, and the film is welcoming to newcomers while deeply satisfying to diehard fans.

Producer Brad Lewis, part of the team for "How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World," has worked on beloved films such as Ratatouille. Arnold notes that the embrace of the unique is what makes DreamWorks Animation movies distinctive.

DeBlois is set to write, produce, and direct the live-action comedy "The Banshee and Fin Magee" in the future. The "How to Train Your Dragon" series, which sold more than seven million copies around the world as of the last books' release in 2015, has undoubtedly left a lasting impact.

English children's author Cressida Cowell, known for the "How to Train Your Dragon" series, remains an integral part of the franchise's success. Lewis is thrilled to be a part of the unexpected new chapter in the series and looks forward to sharing it with audiences worldwide.
