Upcoming OnePlus 15 rumored to feature enhanced camera specifications: Here's the current information available
The tech world is abuzz with excitement as OnePlus gears up to launch its latest flagship device, the OnePlus 15. The upcoming smartphone is expected to pack a punch with its impressive specifications and innovative features.
According to the latest rumours, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset will power the OnePlus 15, along with a custom Oryon CPU, Adreno 840 GPU, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage. This next-generation combination promises to deliver smooth performance and efficient multitasking capabilities.
The OnePlus 15 is also rumoured to boast a triple rear camera setup. The primary sensor is said to be a 50MP LYT700, accompanied by an ultrawide lens and a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto camera. Early impressions suggest a significant improvement over the OnePlus 13's telephoto lens.
The device is expected to have a battery capacity of 7,300mAh and support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, ensuring long-lasting power and quick recharging.
OnePlus is introducing its in-house DetailMax Engine with the OnePlus 15, aiming to enhance the overall photography experience. The device may also include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance for added security and durability.
The OnePlus 15 will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 165Hz, promising a smooth and vibrant visual experience. The front camera is expected to be a 32MP sensor for high-quality selfies.
If the leaked price is to be believed, the OnePlus 15 will be positioned in the ultra-premium flagship segment, with an estimated price of around Rs 80,000 in India. This is a step up from the Rs 69,999 launch price of the OnePlus 13.
The OnePlus 15 is expected to make its debut in China by October 2025 and will be released in India and global markets in early 2026. However, no details about the launch event have been revealed as yet.
