Yamaha Revamps R15 Series, Introduces New Colours Ahead of Festive Season

Yamaha Motor India has announced refreshed colours and premium finishes for its popular R15 series, aiming to boost excitement ahead of the festive season. The R15 range, known for its stylish design and performance, remains a popular choice for riders seeking their first supersport motorcycle.

The R15 series includes several notable features, such as the Traction Control System, Assist & Slipper Clutch, Quick Shifter, Upside-Down front forks, and Linked-Type Monocross Suspension. These features ensure a smooth and dynamic riding experience.

The base model, the R15S, has been updated with a Matte Black finish and bright vermillion wheels. The R15V4 now comes in a Metallic Black shade, and a refreshed Racing Blue with updated graphics. For the first time in India, Yamaha has brought the Matte Pearl White finish to the R15V4.

The R15V4, priced at ₹1,84,770 (Ex-showroom, Delhi), leads the entry-level supersport category, having produced over one million units in India. The R15S is priced at ₹1,67,830 (Ex-showroom, Delhi).

Yamaha has also introduced a new variant, the R15M, priced at ₹2,01,000 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The flagship R15M now comes in a new Metallic Grey shade.

Meanwhile, the KTM 160 Duke, a competitor in the same segment, offers a 160 cc engine and delivers a mileage of 36.5 kmpl. The upcoming KTM RC 160, also with a 160 cc engine, is priced at ₹ 1.95 Lakhs.

The Yamaha MT 15 Version 2.0, another offering from Yamaha, is equipped with a 155 cc engine and offers a mileage of 56.87 kmpl.

With these refreshed colours and premium finishes, Yamaha is set to continue its dominance in the entry-level supersport category, providing riders with a stylish and performance-driven choice for their first supersport motorcycle.
