In Beckum, the candidates are individual applicants such as Inneke Dreier, Mehmet Selim Bilgiç, Sabrina Stroppiana, Thaer Ramzi, Zeki Gül, Ihsan Alkan, and Muhammet Çanakçi with their respective deputies. In Gelsenkirchen, candidates present their topics at information events before the election.
