Upgraded 3D functionality coming to Lenovo's Legion Go 2 through Legion Glasses 2 - a worthwhile investment?
Lenovo Announces New 3D Gaming Mode for Legion Glasses 2 and the Release of Lenovo Legion Go 2
Lenovo has made some exciting announcements in the gaming world, with the release of the Lenovo Legion Go 2 and the free software update for the Lenovo Legion Glasses (Gen 2).
The Lenovo Legion Go 2, a handheld device, will be available next month, starting from $1,049.99. This device supports the Lenovo Legion Glasses 2 and their new feature - a 3D gaming mode. The Legion Glasses, with their unique aviator-style design, are part of the augmented reality glasses category and are decently reviewed by consumers. They are available for purchase at BestBuy.com for $399.99 and can be used with all devices.
The Lenovo Legion Glasses 2 will receive a new "3D Mode" for Legion gaming devices. While the exact list of the 20 games compatible with the Lenovo Legion Glasses 2's 3D Mode update has not been detailed, it is confirmed that the free update will enable 3D Mode support for over 20 2D AAA games available through Legion Space on 10th generation Windows 11 Legion laptops and the Lenovo Legion Go 2. More titles will be added continuously.
The new "3D Mode" will work with Windows 11-powered Lenovo Legion gaming laptops and the Lenovo Legion Go (Gen 2) gaming handheld. Lenovo also unveiled some new Legion and LOQ gaming hardware at IFA, including a trio of OLED monitors.
The Lenovo Legion Glasses (Gen 2) may not be the most technically advanced AR glasses on the market, but they offer an attractive price point and added features for Legion devices. They are part of the growing AR glasses category, with a gaming focus.
Whether you're a casual gamer or a hardcore enthusiast, the Lenovo Legion Go 2 and the updated Lenovo Legion Glasses (Gen 2) promise to bring a new level of immersion to your gaming experience. Stay tuned for more updates as these exciting new products hit the market.
