Upgrading the district heating infrastructure on Bergmannstraße
In the coming weeks, Hürth Utilities will be carrying out essential district heating pipeline repairs in the Hürth-Gleuel area, with the aim of restoring supply reliability in the affected neighbourhood.
The repair work, which is set to commence on July 2 and continue until approximately July 16, 2025, will focus on a damaged pipeline located at house number 147 on Bergmannstraße. The affected street section spans between house numbers 143 and 165.
During the construction phase, Bergmannstraße will be fully closed to through traffic between house number 103 and 165. Through traffic will be rerouted via a signed detour, ensuring that pedestrians and cyclists are not affected by the restrictions.
Residents can still reach their properties up to the construction site, and affected households will be notified in writing in advance. Temporary interruptions in the district heating supply may occur during the construction phase, and Hürth Utilities expresses its apologies for any inconvenience caused.
