The Aschaffenburg City Festival is set to return from August 29 to 31, promising a weekend filled with joy, music, and culinary delights in the heart of the city.
The festival will officially begin on Friday, August 29, at 7 PM on the Schlossplatz. Meanwhile, over at the Schönborner Hof, hip-hop musicians Joone, Pilz, and Jah C will take over the Jugendkultur-Bühne from 6:30 PM. For those with a taste for the youthful and vibrant, the newly introduced Youth Culture Stage ("Trade-Islands Stage") at Schönborner Hof, Wermbachstraße 15, is not to be missed.
Saturday will see Radio Galaxy take over the Youth Culture Stage from 4 PM, while the Maulaffenfest on Karlsplatz, intended for families and children, will offer play and participate activities on the Sparkasse customer parking lot and on the Theaterplatz. The Maulaffenfest on Karlsplatz, supported by the Congress and Tourism Office, is scheduled for Sunday, August 31, with the Hofgarten-Kabarett hosting the 20th Maulaffenfest on Karlsplatz.
The Maulaffenfest on Karlsplatz, located on Karlsplatz, offers a variety of activities for all ages. For families, there will be play and participate activities available, while the festival mile will feature performances on numerous stages and squares.
For food and drink enthusiasts, a new addition to the festival is "Wein Time" at Roßmarkt, featuring winemakers and wine from Dettelbach, Großostheim, Höhrstein, Michelbach, Baden, Pfalz, and Rheinhessen. Food and drink vendors will be available for attendees to enjoy throughout the festival.
