Urge for Public Testimonies by Law Enforcement
In the Lünen district of Horstmar, a student was seriously injured on Friday (23.05.) after being hit by an e-scooter. The incident occurred at around 12:40 PM near a secondary school on Preußenstraße.
The exact nature and extent of the student's injuries have not been specified in the report. However, it is known that the student, a 14-year-old resident of Lünen, was thrown against a tree due to the impact of the collision.
The incident involved e-scooters being ridden on the sidewalk, which is typically not permitted. Two teenagers were riding the e-scooters in an easterly direction when one of them collided with the student. After the collision, both teenagers fell but continued their journey.
