US-based company MRMC appoints Tom Shelburne as the crucial Account Manager for the Americas region.

MRMC Strengthens U.S. Presence with JB&A Partnership

In a significant move, MRMC, a leading provider of robotic and software solutions for the broadcast and pro AV industries, has partnered with JB&A, an audiovisual equipment supplier based in the United States. This partnership, announced in 2023, is part of MRMC's continued push for growth in the Americas.

JB&A, which is a part of the JB&A family, acquired by DCC Technology in 2020, will act as MRMC's U.S. distribution partner. This deal is intended to help expand MRMC's U.S. customer base and bring value to its diverse robotic product line.

MRMC's robotic product line, which includes a wide range of PTZ enablement tools, has seen significant expansion over the last 18 months. This expansion is noteworthy, as MRMC continues to be at the forefront of auto-tracking technologies and world-class robotics.

To lead this expansion in the Americas, MRMC has appointed Tom Shelburne as key account manager, Americas, for the broadcast market. Tom Shelburne brings extensive industry knowledge and a deep understanding of the Americas region to the table. He has held senior sales roles with companies such as Vu, Mo-Sys, Pixotope, and Vizrt.

Paddy Taylor, MRMC's Head of Broadcast, commented on the appointment, stating, "Tom's exceptional industry knowledge and understanding of the Americas region make him a valuable addition to the MRMC global team."

The team at MRMC brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the industry. MRMC's clients include film studios, sports broadcasters, football leagues, and more. With the addition of JB&A, MRMC's clients in the U.S. can expect to benefit from MRMC's unique viewpoints for cameras, provided by their diverse catalog of PTZ enablement tools.

JB&A has expressed excitement about partnering with MRMC, with the deal marking a significant milestone in both companies' growth strategies. MRMC, owned by the Nikon Group, is looking forward to a successful partnership that will further solidify its position as a leader in the broadcast and pro AV industries.
