In an exciting development for fans of the Anne Rice Universe, AMC has announced that the third season of the critically acclaimed series, Interview with the Vampire, is set to air in 2026.

Jacob Anderson will reprise his role as Louis, Christopher Geary as Sam, and Eric Bogosian as Daniel Molloy, joining Sam Reid who will once again portray Lestat. Joseph Potter will return as Nicolas, and Justin Kirk as Raglan James. Gopal Divan will return as Fareed, while Assad Zaman will reprise his role as Armand.

New cast members have been announced for the roles of Gabrielle, Magnus, Marius, Akasha, and Enkil (also known as Those Who Must Be Kept). However, detailed casting information for these roles has not been explicitly provided.

The third season will focus on the story found in the second book of Anne Rice's "Vampire Chronicles," titled "The Vampire Lestat." The series is expected to delve deeper into the complexities of Lestat's character and his relationships with the other vampires.

Production for Interview with the Vampire season 3 began in June 2025. AMC Plus subscription allows viewers to watch new episodes up to a week early. However, both Interview with the Vampire season 3 and the new show in the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, "The Talamasca," are not yet available for streaming.

AMC can be accessed through a standard cable subscription or live TV streaming services like YouTube TV, Fubo, and Sling TV. Interview with the Vampire and other shows in the Anne Rice Universe can also be watched on AMC Plus, a standalone service that can be accessed as an add-on channel on Prime Video, Apple TV Plus, or Roku.
