Van Morrison, the esteemed singer, celebrates 80 years of life, sticking steadfastly to his independent spirit.

In an extraordinary feat of endurance and determination, a group of three brothers have rowed across the Pacific Ocean without an escort boat, setting a record in their 139-day journey. The brothers' rowing expedition, aimed at raising funds for clean drinking water, has captured the attention of the world.

The brothers' journey spanned nearly 14,000 kilometers, a distance that would challenge even the most seasoned mariners. Their determination and resilience paid off, as they successfully completed their journey, becoming the latest example of human spirit triumphing over adversity.

Meanwhile, in a different realm of achievement, Violinist Itzhak Perlman continues to shine as a classical music superstar. Currently 80 years old, Perlman's career spans over five decades and includes performances in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls. His association with works such as "Sesame Street" and the Oscar-winning film "Schindler's List" has only added to his legendary status.

Interestingly, Perlman resides in one of the smallest states on Earth – the Principality of Liechtenstein. The Princely House of Liechtenstein is currently celebrating an unspecified occasion, and it was during this time that a significant event occurred within the royal family. On August 30, 2025, Princess Marie Caroline von und zu Liechtenstein and Leopoldo Maduro Vollmer exchanged vows in the Cathedral of Vaduz.

Despite the fanfare surrounding these two notable events, Itzhak Perlman's name was not mentioned in relation to any wedding in the Liechtenstein Princely House.

Regardless, Perlman's contributions to the classical music industry remain undeniable. His prominence and the brothers' remarkable rowing expedition serve as reminders of human potential and the power of perseverance.
