Another standout performance came from Xin Zhilei, a Chinese actress, who won the award for Best Actress for her role in the drama "The Sun Rises on All of Us". Zhilei's winning portrayal showcased her ability to convey deep emotions and deliver a powerful performance.

In the category of Best Young Actor, two recipients shared the spotlight. Luna Wedler, a Swiss actress, was awarded for her role in "Silent Friend", a film by Ildikó Enyedi. Valerie Bruni Tedeschi, an Italian actress, delivered a stunning performance in "Duse", portraying the Italian theater diva. Despite remaining unrecognized for her efforts, her performance was widely acclaimed for its depth and authenticity.

Amanda Seyfried, an American actress, also made her mark with her performance in "The Testament of Ann Lee". In this religious drama, Seyfried showcased her singing and dancing skills, while also proving that women can not only pray but also preach.

The competition was fierce in the Best Actor category, with nominations for Dwayne Johnson for his role in "The Smashing Machine" and Jesse Plemons for his role as a kidnapper in "Bugonia". Giorgos Lanthimos, the director of "Bugonia", was also nominated for Best Director.
