Veteran boxer Carl Froch, aged 48, explores the possibility of a comeback in the ring, issuing a menacing statement towards his rival.

In a surprising turn of events, former unified super-middleweight champion Carl Froch has expressed interest in a comeback fight against Darren Till, a former UFC welterweight title challenger who has been making waves in KSi's Misfits Boxing promotion.

Froch, who last stepped into the ring against George Groves at Wembley Stadium 13 years ago, has revealed that the prospect of earning "easy money" by beating Till has led to talks with Misfits bigwig Mams Taylor, Rob McCracken, and Eddie Hearn. However, it's important to note that Froch has not made a firm decision about the fight yet.

The 48-year-old boxer has questioned Till's resilience, citing his quick submission in some of his fights. In particular, Froch compares Till's submission to that of his friend Michael Bisping, who refused to tap during a fight.

In a video on his YouTube channel, Froch expressed that he doesn't necessarily need or want the fight with Till, but sought opinions from respected individuals like Rob McCracken. The feedback from McCracken was more positive than Froch expected, which has added to his consideration.

Interestingly, Till approached Froch after his fight with Rockhold. Till recently knocked out ex-UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold in a brutal knockout, a fact that hasn't gone unnoticed by Froch.

It's worth mentioning that Till was released by the UFC at his own request in March 2023. Since then, he has been focusing on his boxing career under the Misfits Boxing banner.

Froch has been in discussions with Kalle Sauerland about the potential fight. However, it seems that negotiations with Eddie Hearn have hit a roadblock, as Froch has broken contact with Hearn during these talks.

Froch plans to assess the situation after returning from the Canelo vs Crawford fight. Until then, the boxing world watches with bated breath, wondering if we will see the return of one of Britain's greatest boxers.
