Vibrant Rainbow Pom Pom Chandelier Illuminates Any Space

The guide for creating this chandelier includes steps for making pom pom strings and assembling the chandelier base. The base can be repurposed from a thrifted lampshade or purchased new. To start, the base is assembled using an 11-inch metal shade ring and a 6-inch wooden embroidery hoop. The base is painted white, but can be painted a colour that complements the pom poms.
To create pom pom strings, 16 pom poms are threaded onto a 30-inch piece of string or yarn, creating six pom pom strands. Tie the ends of these pom pom strings at equal intervals around the outer edge of the metal shade ring.
Next, take the end of each string and securely tie it to the corresponding mark located one position over on the inside ring. Continue tying strings until all strings are tied. Once all strings are in place, mark equal intervals around the inside ring that align with the strings tied on the outside ring.
Attach a long piece of string or yarn to each of the three metal spokes extending from the center of the shade. These will serve as a hanging mechanism for the chandelier. Finally, secure a battery-operated touch light to the center of the metal shade ring using a hot glue gun.
