Vinci Energies Acquires R+S Group, Strengthening Expertise in Electrical Solutions

Vinci Energies, a leading global player in electrical and multi-technical solutions for buildings, has announced the acquisition of R+S Group, headquartered in Fulda, Germany. The acquisition, signed on July 17, 2025, is expected to be completed by the end of August, subject to approval from German antitrust authorities.

R+S Group, a company with over 1,200 employees, achieved a turnover of 191 million euros in 2024. The company includes five companies that focus on electrical engineering, building technology, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. The R+S Group will complement the 150 existing business units within Vinci Energies Building Solutions.

Stefan Falk, CEO of Vinci Energies Germany Building Solutions GmbH, has stated that the acquisition will strengthen Vinci Energies' expertise in electrical solutions. He also emphasized that the R+S Group's inclusion in Vinci Energies will not affect its project partnership with Nokera AG in residential building construction using serial timber construction.

The R+S Group will be integrated into the network of Vinci Energies Building Solutions. This integration will reduce coordination efforts for customers by offering combined mechanical and electrical services. The acquisition will also expand the range of electrical and multi-technical solutions for buildings.

Nokera AG, a company specializing in serial timber construction, is the seller of R+S Group. Nokera and Vinci Energies aim to establish a strategic partnership for the construction of buildings in the infrastructure sector, including PPP projects and military accommodation construction.

The strategic partnership between Nokera and Vinci Energies is not limited to the construction sector. Post-acquisition, R+S Group will continue to be a project partner of Nokera AG in residential building construction using serial timber construction. This partnership is expected to foster innovation and sustainability in the construction industry.

The acquisition by Vinci Energies is a significant step forward in the company's growth strategy. It will enable Vinci Energies to offer a broader range of services to its customers and strengthen its position in the German market. The acquisition is also expected to create new opportunities for the R+S Group employees, providing them with access to a larger network and resources.

In conclusion, the acquisition of R+S Group by Vinci Energies is a strategic move that will strengthen Vinci Energies' expertise in electrical solutions, expand its range of services, and create new opportunities for growth. The expected completion date remains by the end of August, subject to approval from German antitrust authorities.
