2025 VMAs Set to Rock UBS Arena in New York
Get ready, music fans! The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) are coming, and they're set to be a star-studded event.
The show, hosted by LL Cool J, will air live on CBS on August 7th at 8/7C. The venue for this year's extravaganza is the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.
September 7th promises to be a night of unforgettable performances, with a lineup that includes some of the biggest names in the industry. Mariah Carey, fresh off receiving the Video Vanguard Award, will take the stage for a career-spanning medley of her greatest hits.
Ricky Martin, the recipient of the Latin Icon Award, will also be performing. Busta Rhymes, the MTV VMA Global Icon Award winner, is also set to take the stage. Joining them will be Alex Warren, J Balvin ft. DJ Snake, Sabrina Carpenter, Swae Lee, Conan Gray, Doja Cat, Machine Gun Kelly, Post Malone, Tate McRae, and Lady Gaga.
A special tribute to rock legend Ozzy Osbourne will be performed by Steven Tyler & Joe Perry of Aerosmith, YUNGBLUD, and Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme.
New York's own Lady Gaga leads the pack with a total of 12 nominations. The categories for the awards include Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Pop Artist, MTV Push Performance of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Hip-Hop, Best R&B, Best Alternative, and Best Rock.
Voting for the awards is now open and can be done up to 20 times per day. So, don't miss your chance to help shape the winners of this year's VMAs!
