Vote Counts in the 2024 Presidential Election Up to November 10th
In the ongoing elections across Southern California, several key races are shaping up to be decisive. Here's a round-up of the latest developments:
In Artesia, the tax measure has passed, while the special interest bill has failed. The race for the city council is yet to be decided, as there is no information available regarding who decided that the Artesia Union would be called Light Rail.
Over in Hawaiian Gardens, the race is close, with Farfan and Vargas currently leading. Meanwhile, in Bellflower, Koops, Sanchez, and Morse are unopposed, with Morse leading by 158 votes. Charter City Measure B is also way ahead.
In the neighbouring city of Bellflower Unified, Cintron is comfortably ahead. The same can be said for Pico Rivera City Council, where Sanchez and Lara are leading, and Whittier Union High, where Lopez and Canchola are way ahead.
Elsewhere, Downey Unified's Saab is way ahead, and in ABC Unified, Mendoza and Bui are comfortably ahead. Montebello Unified's Magana and Cabrera are also comfortably ahead.
In the educational institutions, Cerritos College's Pacheco has trounced Martha Camacho-Rodriguez. At Rio Hondo Community College, Orozco is ahead of Mendez. The Water Replenishment District's Katherman and DeWitt will likely win, and Norwalk-La Mirada School District's Free, Rios, and Lagenwalter are currently ahead.
In the cities of Norwalk, Norwalk City Council's Rios, Valencia, and Ramirez are way ahead. Santa Fe Springs, Measure SFS has passed, and Mora and Zamora are comfortably ahead. El Rancho Unified's Perez is way ahead as well.
Lastly, it's worth noting that the unexpired term in La Mirada City Council ends in 2026.
