Voting in Buenos Aires elections urged by Axel Kicillof to Bonairans: "The saga continues"
Governor Axel Kicillof Emphasizes Importance of Voting in Buenos Aires Elections
In the heart of Buenos Aires, the provincial legislative elections took place on a day filled with emotion and anticipation. The governor, Axel Kicillof, led the campaign of Fuerza Patria, and his son, León, voted for the first time.
Kicillof, a strong advocate for democracy, referred to the election as "the mother of democracy" and stated that seventeen million Buenos Aires residents are playing a significant role in the continuation of the story. He emphasized the importance of listening to the polls, stating that the Government has to be attentive and listen, and the ruling party, "we, as the officialism, also have to listen to the urns."
Voting was a sacred act, Kicillof declared, the most important one, and each vote is equal. He became emotional when discussing his 16-year-old son, Leon, voting for the first time. Kicilloff called on the entire people of the Province to express themselves at the polls and "express it through the vote."
However, the day was not without its challenges. There were cases of rejection and attempts to flee by people who did not want to stay to exercise the public authority of the polling official. In tours of the Greater Buenos Aires area, delays in the opening of voting booths and confusion among voters who did not know they had been changed to a different school to vote were observed.
Despite these issues, electoral authorities announced after noon the first percentages of participation throughout the district. Kicilloff acknowledged the "disappointment" of the electorate but also called for voting on his X account. He highlighted the importance of this vote in the electoral map of this year.
Kicilloff put himself at the head of the Patria Force campaign after arduous negotiations within Peronism to reach an agreement and go together in the legislative elections. The governor voted in the Buenos Aires provincial legislative elections in La Plata.
As the day progressed, the people of Buenos Aires exercised their right to vote, and the future of the province was left in the hands of the electorate. The governor's words echoed in the minds of many, reminding them that their vote is a sacred act and that each one is equal. The story of Buenos Aires continues, and it is up to the people to decide its course.
