Weekend entertainment in Leipzig features a bear performance.

As the evening approaches, Baileo Salsa Summer takes centre stage at both the Gewandhaus zu Leipzig, Augustusplatz 8, and the Musikpavillon im Clara-Zetkin-Park. For those who prefer a more relaxed atmosphere, the Blauer Salon Leipzig, Markt 9, offers a Comedy Brunch.
For those who prefer a night out, the Pittlerwerke, Polyphonstraße 8, hosts the Bülowstraße Festival from 14:00 to 19:00. Later in the evening, ElsterDisko takes over, with the party running from 20:00 to 05:00.
Saturday, August 30, sees a host of events taking place. The 10th Comic Garden Leipzig takes place all day at ELSTERARTIG, Dittrichring 17. Meanwhile, at the anona ICEDOME, An den Tierkliniken 38, the IceFighters Leipzig take on the Eispiraten Crimmitschau in an ice hockey match.
In the evening, the Intercultural festival, Canta Pueblo Fest, takes place at Ostwache Leipzig, Gregor-Fuchs-Straße 47-49. For those who prefer a more tranquil setting, the spectacular musical "Journey to the Center of the Earth" is on at Biedermeierstrand Hayna, Schkeuditz.
The weekend comes to a close on Sunday, August 31, with the Indie-Comicfestival taking place from 11:00 to 18:00 at Gaststätte Siegismund in Leipzig. For those who still have energy left, the Summer festival at Pittlerworks offers all-day entertainment.
