Wiesbaden's latest road development: buses are being re-routed
In the coming months, passengers in Wiesbaden and Mainz are advised to plan their trips carefully as several changes are set to take place on various bus lines due to road works and other disruptions.
Starting September 2, road resurfacing will take place on Wiesbaden Landstraße, lasting until October 10. The exact bus lines affected by this work have not been specified. For buses traveling towards Mainz or Winterstraße, a detour via Albertstraße and Biebricher Straße will be in effect. This detour will service stops along the route and set up a temporary stop "Mudra Barracks" approximately 100 meters before the intersection of Wiesbadener Straße. However, it's not yet clear which other stops will be temporarily moved or which bus lines will be serving the "Mudra Barracks" stop.
In a separate development, Line 22 will be affected by a full closure of the L3027, starting on an unspecified Thursday. Corresponding timetable changes will be announced. The detour via Albertstraße and Biebricher Straße for buses traveling towards Mainz or Winterstraße, as well as any changes for buses traveling towards Wiesbaden (North Cemetery or Fasanerie Zoo), have not been detailed yet.
Another point of note is the full closure of the L3027, for which the exact start date is yet to be announced. This closure will impact community lines 6 and 33 of Mainz Mobility and ESWE Traffic.
In December, bus lines 15 and 48 will be detoured due to the Delkenheimer Christmas Market. Stops Schlagmühle, Eifelstraße, and Rathausplatz will not be serviced during this period. For buses traveling towards Wiesbaden (North Cemetery or Fasanerie Zoo), the "Dyckerhoffstraße" stop will be temporarily moved about 50 meters ahead.

Additionally, due to a water pipe burst, line 18 is currently not serving the "Friedhof Sonnenberg" stop.
