Wireless, passwordless, and manual authentication solution accessible to all users, named GateKeeper.

The GateKeeper system, developed by Untethered Labs, Inc., is an innovative solution designed to streamline and secure login management in industrial settings. This intelligent, wireless system is now available for cross-industry use, offering a time-efficient and user-friendly approach to secure authentication.

Each employee is provided with a Bluetooth Halberd-Token, a key component of the GateKeeper solution. These tokens, named after the German word for "Hellebarde," are immune to external attacks due to their zero-touch property, making them an essential element of secure authentication.

In the GateKeeper system, each employee must set up a unique access PIN for their individual account. For higher security requirements, a PIN entry or confirmation of biometric features via a fingerprint sensor may be required for two-factor authentication.

The system supports fingerprint scanners from DigitalPersona and Eikon Touch, in addition to wireless procedures. The GateKeeper Halberd Token can be used on workstations, laptops, or tablets with the Halberd Set & Workstation Kit.

The proximity zone of the USB sensors on the GateKeeper Halberd Token can be adjusted from approximately 30 cm to nine meters, allowing for flexibility in usage. In the standard application, the system allows automatic login upon proximity to the USB proximity sensors on the terminal.

Communication between the token/app and software in the GateKeeper system occurs exclusively via 256-bit AES encryption, ensuring the highest level of security. The GateKeeper system expands and improves both static authentication and multi-factor authentication.

Multiple login profiles can be stored per PC in the GateKeeper system. The system records employee, token serial number, computer name, and date and time the screen was unlocked, providing a comprehensive log of user activity.

With GateKeeper Enterprise, central management and configuration of GateKeeper Halberd Tokens and access permissions via group policies is possible. This feature is particularly useful for large-scale industrial operations.
