Witness provides auto license plates in political investigation
In Bielefeld, a 32-year-old cyclist had a near collision with a Mercedes GLA on February 14, 2024, at the Ravensberger Straße intersection. The incident occurred around 2:45 PM.
The cyclist, who was heading down Niederwall towards Jahnplatz, braked to avoid a collision, causing her to fall off her bike. A passerby, who witnessed the accident, noted down the SUV's license plate number. The Mercedes GLA, with a Gütersloh license plate, had made a right turn directly in front of the cyclist.
The cyclist subsequently filed a report at the Ost police station in Bielefeld, providing details of the involved Mercedes GLA. The police have requested that witnesses provide their statements to aid in the investigation of the accident.
The SUV continued driving on Ravensberger Straße without making contact with the cyclist.
