Witnesses Sought for Armed Robbery at a Gas Station in Herne
In a shocking turn of events, the Bochum Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery at a gas station in Herne-South, Germany.
The incident occurred on September 6th, at around 21:42, on Bochumer Straße 110. According to the police department's website (bochum.polizei.nrw), the perpetrator threatened an employee with a knife during the robbery.
The suspect is described as a slim man, approximately 182-185 cm tall, with dark eyes and thick, bushy eyebrows. He spoke flawless German and had a very deep, hoarse voice. The man wore a dark mouthguard, a hood to cover his hair, a black hooded jacket with a zipper, and dark jeans.

The responsible criminal investigation unit has taken up the investigation, and the public is encouraged to provide any information they may have about the suspect or the robbery. The immediate area search by the deployed police officers was unsuccessful, and the perpetrator fled the scene on foot in the direction of Graeffstraße after the robbery.
The perpetrator made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, which he placed in a plastic bag. The employee, who is from Flensburg, was on duty at the time of the robbery.
