The PokerStars Women's Summer Festival is set to commence in London, aiming to create new opportunities for women in the game and foster gender diversity among the next generation of poker's elite.

As part of a series of events designed to normalise women's participation at the highest levels of poker, the Summer Festival follows the success of the inaugural Women's Winter Festival. Kerryjane Craigie, PokerStars Ambassador and Director of Poker at the Hippodrome Casino, is leading the charge for this inclusive initiative.

Top-tier players like Leo Margets, Esther Taylor, and Shiina O have already delivered standout performances this summer, and the Women's Summer Festival promises to attract more top female talent. The event will provide a welcoming atmosphere, a sense of community, and more fun, all while featuring top-quality poker.

Live satellites for the Main Event start from £40, making it accessible to players with various bankrolls. The festival also includes a new £110 High Roller Satellite, starting on August 12th.

Women's High Roller events offer players the opportunity to observe, study, and apply advanced skills in a competitive, yet empowering environment. The festivals balance competitiveness with inclusivity, aiming to grow the presence of women in poker and cultivate a supportive poker culture for them.

The Women's Summer Festival serves as a vital platform to increase female visibility and participation in a traditionally male-dominated sport. It creates accessible entry points for new players, inspires future generations through role models, and contributes to reshaping poker's social landscape by encouraging diversity and breaking down barriers.

Notable attendees include WSOP Ladies Champ Okamoto. The festival is a statement aiming to foster gender diversity and create a welcoming path for future female players.

PokerStars has seen year-on-year growth in women's participation at all live events. Kerryjane Craigie believes women's events are essential for the growth of poker, stating that they provide a dynamic and supportive environment that encourages and grows women's participation in the game.

The support, welcome, and encouragement of women in poker can lead to a better and more competitive poker ecosystem. With the call "Shuffle up and deal!", the PokerStars Women's Summer Festival is poised to revolutionise the poker landscape and inspire a new generation of female poker players.
