World Cup Floral Art Event in The Hague Enhances with a Splash of Rose Gold

In the heart of The Hague, the World Cup Floral Art 2025 is underway, and Task 4, "A Touch of Rose Gold," has been a spectacle to behold. With 23 designers from around the globe, including countries such as the United States, Finland, Spain, Switzerland, Hungary, Italy, Ukraine, Poland, Belgium, Japan, Germany, Croatia, China, Netherlands, Norway, Estonia, Armenia, Republic of Korea, France, Romania, Latin America, Slovenia, and Czech Republic, this task presented a unique challenge.

Each designer was given 60 minutes to create a hand-tied bouquet with a single binding point, using a surprise package of botanical materials with at least 50 percent having a stem length of 70 cm. The size and construction of the bouquet were left to the designer's discretion, but it had to be removable from the container for judging and could be carried by hand.

The bouquet and the vase were considered part of the design, with the vase complementing the rose gold theme of the task. The designers worked against the clock, balancing form, colour, and structure while adhering to the one-binding-point rule. This challenge demanded precision, technical skill, and design sense, as well as the courage to create under pressure.

The designs reflected each designer's individual style and vision, with Marina Bulatova, an assistant of Arman Voskanyan, representing Armenia in the competition. The winner of Task 4 has not been explicitly specified, but the overall World Cup was won by Tomasz Max Kuczyński from Poland.

The World Cup Floral Art 2025 emphasizes not just technical expertise, but also innovation and the ability to create under pressure. The judges are yet to decide on the winner of Task 4, but the competition is undoubtedly a testament to the creativity and skill of floral designers worldwide.
