In the picturesque Austrian Alps, Polestar, the electric performance car brand, has set up an electric workshop for the FAT International Ice Race. The event, known for its thrilling experiences such as flying Bulls, helicopter flights, and VIP box visits, has provided the perfect stage for Polestar to present its innovative vehicles.

Dan Persson, the Strategic Creative Director at Polestar, emphasised that the electric workshop is not just about presenting vehicles, but about staging movement. The centrepiece of the display was the Polestar 5, a four-door grand tourer, which is set to be the most powerful vehicle Polestar has ever produced and will roll off the production line later this year.

The Polestar 5 was not the only vehicle that caught the eye. Polestar also showcased its Arctic Circle collection, a series of specially equipped cars with ice-capable racing wheels. The cars in this collection, characterised by a distinctive white and yellow livery, were tested in the Arctic Circle, where they were put through a series of tests on a specially designed ice track.

Journalists were given the opportunity to test drive the Polestar 3, another vehicle from the Arctic Circle collection, in the Arctic Circle. Their impressions of the vehicle were overwhelmingly positive, praising its performance and handling in the challenging Arctic conditions.

The main action of the race takes place on the ice racetrack, where a unique race event is offered. Participants can race a Polestar 4 against a former rally champion in reverse, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.

Polestar has also set up a base camp for the race, offering a futuristic design, high-tech racing simulators, and distinctive helmet livery. The electric workshop, with its cutting-edge technology and innovative vehicles, has become a must-visit destination at the FAT International Ice Race.

The FAT International Ice Race and Polestar's electric workshop in the Austrian Alps are a testament to the growing popularity of electric vehicles and the exciting possibilities they offer for both racing and everyday driving.
