In the picturesque Austrian Alps, Polestar's team of creatives faced a challenging task - transforming a venue for an exclusive event that combined racing culture, technology, and luxury. The result was the Electric Garage, a high-tech showcase of electric mobility that attracted event-hardened spectators from far and wide.

Polestar, the electric performance brand, has recently joined forces with the Melbourne Football Club as a Major Partner ahead of the 2025 AFLW season. Sharing values of progress and challenging boundaries, this partnership marks a significant step for Polestar in the Australian market.

The Electric Garage, a key feature of the event, offered visitors an immersive experience. The centrepiece was an elevated Polestar 5, the brand's upcoming four-door Grand Tourer and its most powerful car to date. Surrounding this, visitors could enjoy high-tech racing simulators, bespoke racing helmet painting, and a futuristic atmosphere.

Apart from the technological wonders, the event catered to adrenaline seekers with activities such as flying bulls, helicopter rides, and special VIP paddocks. Notable attendees included Belgian racing driver Shana Claessens, who reflected on her driving experiences and their similarities to the Polestar 4. Swimming superstar Sarah Sjöström also participated in the event, expressing her enjoyment after a hot lap with one of Sweden's greatest ever racing drivers, Thed Bjork.

Polestar's showrooms are renowned for their visual beauty, with architects and designers spending years finding, sculpting, and refining the perfect environments. For the Electric Garage in the Austrian Alps, Polestar Architect, Dragan Pavlovic, found the task inspiring and unique.

The main action of the event took place trackside, where vehicles with spiked wheels raced. To further emphasise Polestar's commitment to electric racing, the brand showcased its Arctic Circle collection, a series of one-of-a-kind show cars equipped with specialized ice racing tyres and distinctive white and yellow coats.

Dan Persson, Polestar's Strategic Creative Director, highlighted that the Electric Garage is about creating a movement and crafting memorable experiences for spectators. Despite no information on when or where Polestar will next present its Electric Garage project, one thing is certain - the brand continues to push boundaries and redefine the future of racing culture.
