Wreck results in vehicle rollover
In Essen-Rellinghausen, Germany, last night, a collision involving several cars occurred at the intersection of Wuppertaler Straße and Konrad-Adenauer-Bridge.
According to reports, a 30-year-old BMW driver was traveling towards Frankenstraße over the Konrad-Adenauer-Bridge when the collision occurred. The BMW collided with a 57-year-old KIA driver from Meppen at the same intersection. The impact was so severe that the KIA flipped over and slid into a Renault Clio at the intersection.
The collision is suspected to be due to a traffic light failure. Flying car parts damaged nearby vehicles at the intersection, adding to the chaos.
Sadly, four individuals were lightly injured in the collision. The BMW driver, the KIA driver, the 36-year-old Renault driver, and his 4-year-old son were among those injured.
The three involved vehicles were no longer roadworthy and were towed away for evidence collection. The police's traffic accident investigation team was involved in securing evidence and investigating the accident at the intersection of Wuppertaler Straße and Konrad-Adenauer-Brücke.
The intersection was closed for the duration of the accident investigation. The police's traffic accident recording team also secured evidence at the scene.
We hope for a swift recovery for all those affected by this unfortunate incident. The investigation is ongoing, and further updates will be provided as information becomes available.
