Young offenders, aged teenagers, apprehended for bicycle larceny, as captured on video footage
In the city of Nuremberg, a Yamaha motor scooter that was reported stolen on August 21, 2025, has been recovered by the local police.
According to the Bavaria Central Police Headquarters, the stolen scooter was found on Witschelstraße on August 22, in the afternoon. Several juveniles, aged 14 and 15, were found near the scooter, and it appears they were fueling it at the time.
The Nuremberg-West Police Station is currently investigating the incident, suspecting it to be a case of theft. However, the identity of the affected youths and the actual driver of the stolen scooter remain undisclosed in the available sources.
The police arrived at the scene to find that the driver had already fled. The motorcycle was taken into police custody for further investigation, which is ongoing.
After completing the necessary police procedures, the motorcycle was returned to its rightful owner.
