Young rollerblader (aged 17) sustains severe injuries in accident involving a stationary vehicle
In Bochum-Kornharpen, a traffic accident occurred on Monday afternoon, August 25th, that has left a 17-year-old motorcyclist with serious injuries. The accident took place on Kornharpen Street, specifically at the location where the street meets "Auf der Prinz".
The incident involved a car driver from Ennepetal and the young motorcyclist from Bochum. At the time of the collision, the car driver was parked at house number 126 on Kornharpen Street.
The motorcyclist was heading towards "Auf der Prinz" when the accident occurred. As a result, an ambulance crew was summoned to the scene to provide immediate medical assistance. The motorcyclist was then taken to a hospital for further treatment.
The Kornharpen Street was closed from approximately 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. to allow for the accident investigation. The Traffic Commission has taken over the further investigation of the accident.
