According to the Bremen Police, the incident involved a 48-year-old man who was waiting at the traffic light at the intersection of Kurt-Schumacher-Allee and Karl-Kautsky-Straße on the left lane heading into the city. As the light turned green, the driver started driving, and the 12-year-old girl, who was reportedly running to catch a tram, ran in front of his car and was hit.
The emergency services immediately responded to the scene and took the 12-year-old girl to the hospital for further treatment. The girl's condition is not currently known.
