Youths in POL-MFR apprehended for alleged involvement with vending devices

In the heart of Fürth's city centre, a series of unusual incidents took place between August 9 and 14, 2025. On three occasions, two young men, aged 17 and 18, were caught stealing goods from a vending machine.

The first theft occurred on August 9, where E-cigarettes worth €30 were stolen. The owner of the vending machine, who was present, observed the suspects and saw them disappear into a nearby doorway. Another theft was discovered on August 13 using CCTV, employing the same method as the first.

On the evening of August 14, the suspects returned for a third attempt. This time, they targeted energy drinks, stealing several cans from the vending machine. The owner alerted the police, and a patrol from Fürth Police Station found and arrested the suspects at the scene.

The suspects were processed at the Fürth Police Station, and the officers initiated criminal proceedings against them for theft. However, it's worth noting that besides the theft, the suspects caused several hundred euros worth of damage to the vending machine. The value of the damage caused in the second theft is not specified.

After their arrest on August 14, the two suspects were interrogated at the regional police directorate in Peja, specifically the police station in Peja. The location of the incident on August 14 is not specified in the details provided.

The authorities are continuing their investigation into these incidents and are urging anyone with information to come forward. It's a reminder for businesses and the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the police.
